Description
- Hands on experience in replacements of main bearings, connecting rod bearings etc, cylinder valves Piston rings, rider rings, piston rods, lube oil pumps etc. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Ability to perform corrective maintenance to address compressor malfunctions.
- Hands on experince on shaft alignments, lubrication sealings, and inspection of mechanical components of reciprocating gas compressor
- Prepare tools, materials and spare parts as per maintenance schedules Prepare accurate and detailed commissioning reports, maintenance records, and documentation of all activities performed and generate reports on system for the equipment performance, maintenance findings, and recommended improvement
- Knowledge of safety protocols and hazard analysis techniques to prevent accidents and ensure safe working environment.
- Maintenance of gas reciprocating compressor packages according to design specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
- Familiarity with safety systems and compliance with industry standards (API, ASME etc)
- Troubleshootanddiagnoseissuesrelatedtothecompressorpackageperformance, efficiency, and reliability, Involved in major overhauling, preventive maintenance, and repair tasks of reciprocating gas compressor.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, instruments and equipment (Eg.Vibration analyzers, pressure gauges etc)
